The letter Paul wrote to his long time associate Titus, is known as one of the Pastoral Epistles. In this letter Paul instructs Titus to practice “good works” so that through his exemplary leadership of the church in Crete he might encourage others to do the same. These good works (right living or living in a Godly manner) should be a natural response to the grace of God expressed in his offer of salvation to all through His Son Jesus Christ.
