Shortly before His arrest, Jesus taught his disciples the necessity of remaining connected to Him. In John 15 Jesus said:
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. (John 15:4 – ESV)
In the coming weeks we plan to study what it means to “abide”, or as other translations put it to “remain”, or “stay joined” to Christ.
